Fountain of the Three Carniolan Rivers Ljubljana

This painting is a part of a Ljubljana series, where I paint my favourite Ljubljana's views and feelings. Some views and captured moments are huge, others are small, some are iconic, other very personal. This (detail) view of the Fountain of the Three Carniolan Rivers (also known as the Robba Fountain) is definitely iconic piece of Ljubljana. The fountain consists of three male figures with jugs, representing the gods of the three rivers Ljubljanica, Sava and Krka.
